What you owe
So how much will you owe if you go bankrupt?
While bankruptcy can relieve you of many debts, unfortunately certain debts cannot be discharged by declaring personal bankruptcy, these include:
- certain student loans that are less than seven years old
- alimony, child or spousal support
- some court fines or penalties
Your Deloitte trustee will help you create a repayment plan that makes it easier for you to meet these unavoidable financial obligations.
Here's some good news...
After filing for bankruptcy, you will no longer have to deal directly with your unsecured creditors. Instead, your Deloitte trustee will notify and work with them on your behalf. This means that collector calls, lawsuits and wage garnishments against you will stop.
